The Velveteins are back with 'Last Night'

The Edmonton indie rock trio, The Velveteins, are finally back with ‘Last Night’. This is Spencer, Addison and Dean’s first release since their debut album ‘Slow Wave’ in 2017. For this new single, the band has decided to go independent, leaving their label behind to start fresh.

The summery and fuzzy guitars that got us hooked from the beginning with ‘Hanging From The Ceiling’ sound stronger than ever. “The song is a bleary eyed narrative about past decisions and future consequence” is truly the best way to describe the lyrics in the song. Spencer’s soothing vocals guides us through the adventure that is going out and waking up with a sore head. Though a series of unfortunate decisions may come on a night out, whatever happened that inspired this song must’ve been very enlightening in the morning. We're so excited to have new music by The Velveteins and we can't wait to see what they have planned for the rest of the year!
