Montreal Based Tim Hecker Announces New Album + Tour

February 12, 2019

The sequel of the album released last year was announced by the artist today via social networks.

Anoyo is the title of the album which means "Another World" in Japanese. It will be launched via Kranky on May 10th. The six tracks will act as acolytes to the previous record "Konoyo", one of the best electro albums of 2018.

In addition to announcing the news, Tim offers us the first single from the album "That World".

Listen to the song below.

As if that were not enough, he adds several dates to his current tour to offer his fans the opportunity to experience new tracks live. But don’t get too excited, the electro artist will not be going to Montreal for this tour. Sad news.

We are proud of this former student of Concordia University who persists in piquing our curiosity and traveling with him.
